I have been using the Kitchenaid 5KFP0919EER food processor for a few months now, and overall, my experience has been subpar. I would rate this product a 2 out of 5 possible, as it is lacking in essential features and doesn’t perform as well as other food processors on the market.
One major downside of this product is the limited number of speed settings. While it has three settings, I find that they are not powerful enough to properly chop or puree ingredients. The grinding process takes far too long, which makes preparing meals very time-consuming. I have also noticed that the food processor doesn’t have enough power to create a smooth puree, leaving bits of unprocessed food behind.
Another issue is the grater/shredder disc, which is touted as a key accessory. However, it simply doesn’t work as expected. When attempting to shred cheese or other items, the disc leaves large chunks unprocessed and causes the rest to jam inside of the machine. This leaves me with a mess to clean up and wasted food.
Compared to other well-known food processors on the market, the Kitchenaid 5KFP0919EER falls short. It is not as powerful or efficient as others, and the limited speed settings really hold it back. I was disappointed with my purchase and wouldn’t recommend it to others.
Delivery to Omaha was prompt when I ordered this food processor in April. However, it didn’t live up to my expectations and failed to meet my needs as a home help.
