I bought the Morphy Richards Fastbake Cooltouch bread maker back in January and have been using it regularly ever since. While I love the convenience of having freshly baked bread without having to leave the comfort of my own home, I have found a few drawbacks to this machine.
One issue I have with this bread maker is the browning control feature. I find that even on the lowest setting, my bread comes out quite dark. Additionally, while the machine does have 12 different settings for different types of bread, I don’t find that they are all that different from one another. I have tried making different types of bread with varying settings, but the end result is typically quite similar.
In comparison to other bread makers I have used, I would say that the Morphy Richards Fastbake Cooltouch is on par with most of them. It gets the job done, but I wouldn’t say it’s exceptional in any way.
As far as delivery goes, I did have some issues getting the bread maker delivered to San Jose. It took longer than expected and there were a few hiccups along the way, but eventually I did receive the product and have been using it ever since.
Overall, I would rate the Morphy Richards Fastbake Cooltouch at a 3 out of 5. While it does have some drawbacks and isn’t the best bread maker I have ever used, it still serves its purpose and gets the job done.
