I bought the Kitchenaid Artisan 5KMT2204EBK toaster in September and have been using it for a while now. Overall, I’d rate it 3 out of 5 possible stars.
The toaster can accommodate 2 pcs toast slices, which is great for me because I live alone and don’t need to make a lot of toast at once. It has a width of 18.0 cm, which makes it a little larger than some other toasters I’ve seen, but it’s not a big deal.
In terms of performance, the Kitchenaid Artisan makes decent toast, but it’s not the best I’ve had. It heats up quickly and evenly, but sometimes the toast comes out a little unevenly cooked. I’ve also noticed that the toaster tends to burn the edges of the bread more than other toasters I’ve used.
While I do like the look of the toaster, I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. There are other toasters out there that perform just as well, if not better, for a lower price.
