As a waitress in St. Petersburg, I have tried my fair share of sandwich makers over the years. When I purchased the Steba SG 16 last summer, I was intrigued by the 9.5 cm height, which is higher than most sandwich makers on the market. I had high hopes for this toaster, as Steba is a reputable brand known for quality kitchen appliances.
Unfortunately, after using the SG 16 for several months now, I can only give it a 3 out of 5 rating. While the height is great for making thicker sandwiches, I found that the heating elements were not evenly distributed, resulting in some parts of the sandwich being overcooked while others were not cooked enough.
Compared to other well-known sandwich toasters, such as Tefal or Breville, I found the SG 16 to be slightly lacking in terms of performance. The design is sleek and modern, but ultimately it fell short in delivering consistently delicious sandwiches.
In terms of delivery to St. Petersburg, I had no trouble ordering the sandwich toaster online and it arrived within a reasonable amount of time. However, given my experience with the SG 16, I cannot highly recommend it to others looking for a reliable and effective sandwich maker.
