The equipment is doing exactly what it should. Until now, I have steamed vegetables and cooked rice and potatoes. Everything went wonderful without much effort. I was particularly positively surprised by the way vegetables taste differently than those cooked in a pan. Thanks to its very attractive appearance, I like to leave the device in the kitchen, which saves myself the hassle of moving around.

As someone who loves to cook, I was excited to try out the Rommelsbacher MD 1000. However, I have to admit that I was pretty disappointed with this product. I would give it two stars out of five possible.
One of the things that attracted me to the Rommelsbacher MD 1000 was the number of programs it offers; there are 14 different options to choose from, including sauté, slow cook, and rice cooking. However, I found that some of these programs didn’t work as well as I had hoped. For instance, the rice cooking program resulted in mushy, overcooked rice, which was really disappointing.
Additionally, while the 4.0 L volume of the Rommelsbacher MD 1000 is impressive, I found that the overall quality of the product just wasn’t up to par. The construction felt flimsy and not very durable, and there were several instances where I had trouble getting the cooker to work properly.
Comparatively, I have used other multi cookers before, such as the Instant Pot and the Crock-Pot Express, and found that those products were much more reliable and produced better results. While the Rommelsbacher MD 1000 may offer a lot of different programs, I just don’t think it’s worth the investment when there are more reliable, better-performing options out there.

I can see how Rommelsbacher MD 1000 would be a great addition to any kitchen, especially if you’re looking for an easy way to cook vegetables and rice. However, I have to disagree with your statement that the equipment is doing exactly what it should. As someone who has used similar machines in the past, I believe there’s room for improvement when it comes to taste and texture.
While steamed vegetables may be more tender than those cooked in a pan, they often lack the crispness and vibrant colors that come from sautéing or roasting. Similarly, rice and potatoes can sometimes turn out mushy when steamed instead of retaining their firm texture.
Moreover, I find it difficult to believe that the device’s appearance is a deciding factor in its use. The functionality and taste should be the primary considerations for any kitchen appliance, regardless of how attractive it looks.
In conclusion, while Rommelsbacher MD 1000 may have some benefits, I don’t think it lives up to its full potential when it comes to taste and texture. As someone who values delicious, well-cooked meals, I would recommend exploring other options on the market before making a purchase.
